Eccleshall Litter campaign

The Borough Litter Campaign which took place in Eccleshall High Street in July, attracted more than 30 businesses who ‘signed the pledge’ to do what they could to reduce litter generated by their businesses.

Councillor Peter Jones worked on a stall with the staff at the Environment Department and was able to encourage businesses to take part on the day.

Members of the public were also enthusiastic about the campaign and what they could do. A group of children from the Bishop Lonsdale Academy carried out a litter pick in the town centre on the day, which was very successful.
