Discount retailer B&M has announced an opening date for the long awaited store in Stone, in a welcome boost to the town’s economy.
The former Co-Op store will open its doors for the first time on Friday, November 9, at 9am and will create 40 new jobs for local people at the site on the High Street.
B&M is one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers and customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded products including toys, food and drink, pet range, health and beauty and homewares, as well as their own fresh and frozen department.
Area Manager Tim Bailey said:
“We’re really excited to be opening our first ever store in Stone and we hope customers are going to be delighted with it.
“We’ve just got the keys so the team are currently working hard to transform the site so we can get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks.”
