On Sunday 28th October couples looking for the perfect venue for their nuptials can discover what lies behind the imposing gates of Sandon Hall, just north of Stafford.
Still the private family home of the Earls of Harrowby, opportunities to see inside this stunning neo-Jacobean mansion are rare. Couples will discover stately interiors and some 50 acres of formal garden that will be exclusively theirs for their big day – providing a breathtaking backdrop to wedding photographs. The hall is licenced for civil ceremonies, with the option of taking vows in the Victorian conservatory, the library or outside in the Temple Garden; whilst the estate’s Grade II listed church is available for religious ceremonies.
As well as discovering the secrets of this gem of a venue, visitors to the open day will have the chance to chat to the hall’s events team and some of the venue’s partner suppliers – including caterers, photographers, bar and DJ services, florists and venue dressers – all hand picked for the exceptional quality of their offering. Sandon Hall events manager, Laura Davies, says:
“This is the perfect opportunity to take a look around the hall and decide if it would be the setting for your dream day with absolutely no pressure. Just come along, enjoy a glass of fizz on arrival and have an informal chat about the venue and the options open to couples whether you’re looking for a single-venue celebration or somewhere to host your reception if you wish to marry elsewhere. You’ll also find some very useful contacts for your wedding planner through our trusted partners who will be with us on the day to help showcase the hall at its very best.”
Couples who register their interest during the open day and who go on to book a wedding at Sandon Hall within 7 days of the event will get 15% off the venue booking fee.
The Wedding Open Day will take place on Sunday 28th October from 11am – 3pm. No need to register simply turn up on the day.
