Music Club welcomes the Bute Clarinet Quartet – Saturday 20 October

On Saturday 20 October at Cosy Hall, Water Lane, at 7.30 p.m. Newport Music Club will extend a warm welcome to four extremely talented musicians, Masters Graduates of the Royal Welsh College of Music – the Bute Clarinet Quartet.

The Bute Clarinet Quartet was formed in September 2013, and has performed recitals across the UK including taking first prize at the National Eisteddfod in 2014. The quartet performs in a wide variety of venues, from performing with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Welsh National Opera; to playing music in community settings, such as hospitals and additional needs schools. Their aim is to make live music accessible to every individual.

The concert will feature a range of works from Gershwin, Fats Waller, and Piazzolla to Liszt. Do come along to enjoy the evening. If you have a young budding clarinettist in the family this is an ideal opportunity to inspire. Tickets are £13 for Adults and £4 for students.
