Following many months of hard work and speculation, the Town Council is pleased to welcome the new Post Office to Stone High Street.
After the opening of the new Post Office, the free bus that the Council has been providing to surrounding areas will no longer be needed, and will cease to operate.
The final day of operation of the bus will be 16th October 2018.
Councillor Rob Kenney, Chairman of the Council’s General Purposes Committee said:
“It is great to see a Post Office opening in the High Street once again. I wish them well. The Council has tried to help those worst affected while there has been no post office by the provision of a free bus service. I hope that those that used the bus found the service helpful.”
