Spooky half term performing arts workshops in Stone…

Stone dance and performing arts school Rooftop Studios is getting into the Halloween spirit with three days of workshops packed with spooky fun.

Offering flexible childcare alongside the opportunity for youngsters to learn new skills, hone talent and build confidence – all whilst having bags of fun – the workshops will be led by the studio’s talented and dedicated team of industry professionals.

Running on Tuesday 30th, Wednesday 31st October and Thursday 1st November the workshops will see 3 – 15 year olds learn dances from ‘Thriller Live – The Michael Jackson Musical’, songs from ‘The Addams Family Musical’, and scenes from ‘Hotel Transylvania’ as well as many more great movies and musicals. They’ll also get hands-on with face painting, stage make-up, costume design, arts and crafts before chilling out in front of a movie. On Wednesday there will be a fancy dress competition while on Thursday the groups will perform a short show of all things learnt during the week for family and friends.

Parents can book anything from a single day through to entire the three course – the 3-day workshops is £60 and single days are £25 each. Wraparound care is available too for parents who need to drop off early or pick up late.

All the workshops will take place at the purpose-built studio above Stone’s High Street Arcade. For full details and to book a space, head to www.rooftopstudios.co.uk
