St Michael & St Wulfad’s Church, Stone, is holding a Heritage Open Day on Saturday, October 6, from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to have a guided tour of the Kempe windows, see the 12th century priory seal, go inside the Jervis Mausoleum and, weather permitting, climb the church tower for a charge of £1.

There were also be a display of military memorabilia from Stone, particularly from the First World War. Admission is free with donations to church funds.
