Womens Championship North.

Lichfield Ladies hosted Sheffield Ladies putting on an impressive performance to win 51 -7 and getting back to winning ways in the league.

Womens Championship Midlands 2.

Lichfield Ladies II welcomed a travelling Kenilworth Ladies with a 41 – 27 win seeing the Staffordshire side continue their unbeaten league run.

NC Midlands 2 Central.

Cannock Lionesses travelled to fellow Staffordshire side Handsworth Ladies the visitors taking all of the points with a 17 – 48 victory. Wolverhampton Ladies were away at bottom of the table Bournville Ladies, the black country side taking their first win of the season 14 – 29.

Midlands NC Merit League.

The results for Burton Ladies or Longton Ladies were not available at time of publication.

Midlands Premier.

Burton hosted Broadstreet with a final score of 17 – 22 leaving the Staffordshire side 2nd from bottom in the league. Lichfield welcomed Sheffield a good afternoon of rugby leading to a 31 – 17 win for the home side.

Midlands 1 West.

The bottom two sides in the league met as Longton hosted Droitwich, despite a strong performance the home side slipped to their 5th loss of the season 34 – 40. Stoke were at home to Worcester a 40 – 18 victory giving them their 2nd win of the season.

Midlands 2 West (North).

Leek hosted Crewe & Nantwich, the home side taking the points with a 20 -14 win. Newcastle were at home to Walsall with a strong performance earning a 37 – 17 victory. Stafford welcomed bottom of the table Telford, the hosts earning their first win of the season 25 – 17. Tamworth were at home to Wolverhampton with a 22 – 18 win maintaining their second place in the league.

Midlands 3 West (North).

Burntwood welcomed Eccleshall keeping up their unbeaten league run with a 31 – 19 victory. Cannock couldn’t make their game with Cleobury Mortimer, conceding the fixture. Handsworth hosted Trentham with a substantial 71 – 22 win giving the hosts their first win of the season. Uttoxeter were away at Edwardians but a 29 – 3 loss saw the travellers returning home empty handed. Wednesbury travelled to top of the table Old Saltelians but didn’t take any points with a 36 – 10 loss.

Midlands 4 West (North).

Barton hosted Aston Old Edwardians a 22 – 19 victory giving them their first win of the season. Bloxwich were at home to Aldridge, with the hosts taking their first win of the season 34 – 23. Essington welcomed top of the table Rugeley the visitors maintaining their first-place

league position with a comprehensive 5 – 41 victory. Willenhall travelled to Clee Hill a strong 8 – 42 victory enough to secure second spot in the league. There were no league games for Linley this week.

Staffordshire League Division 1.

Gnosall travelled to Wednesbury 2nd XV coming home with a 27 – 39 victory to give them their first win of the season. St Leonards were away at Willenhall 2nd XV taking maximum points with a strong 18 – 35 victory. The were no league games for Whittington this week.

Staffordshire League Division 2.

Stone welcomed near neighbours Longton 2nd XV, the home side delivering a comprehensive 43 – 5 victory.
