Within two minutes, Eccleshall were almost level, Bennion’s free kick came back off West’s ‘keeper Marcus Burgess, but Johnson, under pressure couldn’t find the target.

Next Saturday, it’s back to league action with a trip to New Mills (3.00pm).
Before Saturday’s match, Eccleshall held a minute’s silence in memory of former club committee member, long time supporter and volunteer helper, Peter Moss, who sadly passed away on Friday. Peter was well liked by all who knew him and devoted many years service to Eccleshall FC.
He will be greatly missed around Pershall Park. Rest in Peace, Peter.
