What better way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations than an evening of Christmas carols old and new and an interval with a glass of wine and mince pies?
Stone Choral Society will be holding this concert and it’s guaranteed to bring you some of the wonder and magic of the Christmas season. There will be plenty of opportunities to join in with the singing of well known favourites and to listen to some less familiar carols. The choir will be building on its success from its 50th Anniversary concert in the summer and a recent collaboration with its sister choir Terpsichore, in Belgium over the Remembrance weekend for the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.
Stone Choral Society is led by inspirational conductor Harriet Johnson with the invaluable pianist Jennifer Hames accompanying.
Join them on Saturday, December 15, at 7.30pm in Christ Church, Stone.
Tickets cost £10 each (under 16s free) including wine and mince pies. Tickets available from Plants Jewellers and Home & Colour on Stone High Street and from choir members. Alternatively email tickets@stonechoral .org.uk or call 01889 883878.
