Womens Championship North.

There were no league games for Lichfield Ladies this week.

Womens Championship Midlands 2.

There were no league games for Lichfield Ladies II this week.

NC Midlands 2 Central.

Cannock Lionesses welcomed Coventry Welsh Ladies finishing the game with an emphatic 83-5 victory to cement their top placed league position. Handsworth Ladies hosted Wolverhampton Ladies with the visitors taking all of the points with a 0-22 win.

Midlands NC Merit League.

There were no league games for Burton Ladies or Longton Ladies this week.

Midlands Premier.

Burton travelled to Newport with the Shropshire side just edging the afternoon 39-31. Lichfield were at home to second from bottom Doncaster Phoenix, a high scoring match leading to a 52-38 victory for the hosts.

Midlands 1 West.

Longton were away at second placed Newbold on Avon but couldn’t build on their previous weeks form, losing 78-0 and propelling the hosts to the top of the table. Stoke welcomed Dudley Kingswinford with a tight game ending in a 18-17 win for the potteries side.

Midlands 2 West (North).

Leek hosted Stafford, with an excellent afternoon of rugby ending in a 27-27 draw. Newcastle took a trip to Wolverhampton with a tight game ending in a 16-15 victory for the black country team. Tamworth were away at Crewe & Nantwich, with the East Staffordshire incurring their first loss of the season 47-7. Walsall welcomed near neighbours Veseyans taking all of the points with a 26-12 win.

Midlands 3 West (North).

Burntwood were at home to top of the table Shrewsbury, the visitors cementing their league position with a 17-41 win. Cannock hosted 2nd placed Old Saltelians but finished the match still looking for their first win of the season after a 0-62 loss. Eccleshall welcomed Handsworth a close game ending in a 27-24 win for the home team. Trentham took the short trip to Uttoxeter a high scoring game finishing in a 79-34 win for the hosts. Wednesbury hosted Edwardians but couldn’t grab any points after a 13-19 loss.

Midlands 4 West (North).

Barton welcomed Linley with the visitors earning the win 15-35 to go top of the league. Bloxwich hosted Essington with the home side securing the points 12-5. Rugeley travelled to Willenhall, suffering their first loss of the season 26-5.

Staffordshire League Division 1.

Whittington hosted a travelling Gnosall with the visitors taking all of the points 19-43. There were no league games for St Leonards or this week.

Staffordshire League Division 2.

Stone hosted Cannock 2nd XV a close game of ruby ending in a 10-0 victory for the home side.
