Thursday nights throughout January and February will be Tapas Night at Aston Marina’s No.26 eatery. And with two people sharing six tapas dishes for just £20, it represents a great value way to get out and banish the January blues.
The new menu builds on the concept of traditional Spanish Tapas dishes; introducing a range of global dishes in tapas-size portions to ensure there is something to tickle all tastebuds. Alongside classic Spanish dishes such as Patatas Bravas, Paprika-dusted Hake and Sundried Tomatoes, diners can select from International dishes drawing inspiration from British, Asian, Italian and American cuisine. Other dishes include Beef & Oxtail Croquettes; Piri Piri Chicken Wings; Cauliflower Leaf, Ginger, Garlic & Red Pepper Pancakes; Arancini; Wild Mushroom Gnocchi; Duck Wontons; Avocado on Crostini; Singapore Beef Noodles; Butternut Squash, Pear & Gorgonzola Flatbread; Pigs in Blankets; Breads with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar; Smoked Haddock and Salmon Fishcakes and Slow-cooked Barbeque Pulled Pork Wrap.
Director Helen Webb says:
“Tapas is really in demand and it’s little wonder – sharing dishes and getting to try lots of different flavours rather than just one main meal is great fun. Rather than head down a traditional Spanish tapas route, we decided to offer diners the chance to go on a culinary voyage of discovery; with the tapas menu reflecting the global flavours that inspire our main menu at No.26. We’ve also ensured that there is plenty of choice for Vegetarian and Vegan diners, too. While six dishes offers plenty to share, diners can add extra dishes for just £4 each.”
Global Tapas Night will take place from 6pm-9pm at Aston Marina’s No.26 restaurant on Thursday 17th, 24th and 31st January and on Thursday 7th, 21st and 28th February (Valentine’s night is excluded with a special set menu available strictly by advance booking).
