Womens Championship North.

There were no league games for Lichfield Ladies this week.

Womens Championship Midlands 2.

Lichfield Ladies II travelled to bottom of the league Old Leamingtonians Ladies but came away empty handed following a 39-10 loss.

NC Midlands 2 Central.

Cannock Lionesses travelled to Coventry Welsh Ladies maintaining their top place league position with a 5-20 victory. Wolverhampton Ladies welcomed Handsworth Ladies, with the black country side taking the spoils with a 17-0 victory.

Midlands NC Merit League.

There were no league games for Burton Ladies or Longton Ladies this week.

Midlands Premier.

Burton travelled to Doncaster Phoenix with a high scoring game ending in a narrow 43-38 loss. Lichfield welcomed Broadstreet with the visitors taking all the points after a 18-28 win.

Midlands 1 West.

Longton hosted Worcester with a long afternoon of rugby ending in a 7-45 loss for the Staffordshire side. Stoke welcomed Whitchurch with a close game ending in a 8-14 loss.

Midlands 2 West (North).

Leek travelled to Newcastle with the visitors working their way to a 12-25 victory. Stafford welcomed Camp Hill but couldn’t find any form with a 11-25 loss. Tamworth hosted Walsall with the home side just edging the encounter with a final score of 28-26. Wolverhampton were away at top of the table Ludlow, the league leaders taking the points with a 28-14 win.

Midlands 3 West (North).

Burntwood travelled to Harborne coming home victorious after a 12-23 final score. Eccleshall were at home to Wednesbury the visitors losing out 19-7. Handsworth hosted Cannock but the visitors were left searching for form after a 72-5 loss. Uttoxeter were away to second in the league Old Saltelians, a good performance ending in a 31-22 loss for the Staffordshire team. Trentham were unable to make their fixture against top of the table Shrewsbury, conceding the fixture.

Midlands 4 West (North).

Barton were away at Clee Hill with the home side taking the points 37-3. Bloxwich hosted Yardley & District with the visitors taking all the points after a 17-37 loss. Essington were at home to Aston Old Edwardians battling their way to the second win of the season 14-12. Linley welcomed Aldridge with a comprehensive 71-5 win keeping up the top place challenge from the Staffordshire side. League leaders Willenhall travelled to second from bottom Market Drayton, the visitors maintaining their form with a 7-32 victory. There were no league games for Rugeley this week.

Staffordshire League Division 1.

Gnosall welcomed Stafford Development with the visitors taking the win 18-29. St Leonards maintained their top place league position with a 20-0 win over a travelling Stoke Development team. The result for Whittington vs Tamworth 2nd XV was not available at time of publication.

Staffordshire League Division 2.

Essington 2nd XV couldn’t make their fixture against Stone conceding the fixture.
