Little ones ages 1 – 3 and their grown-ups can enjoy a magical morning at Stone’s Rooftop Studios’ next week, as Michael Rosen’s classic children’s story ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’ is bought to life during two of its morning toddler classes.
Monday 11th March’s ‘Baby Dance’ and Friday 15th March ‘Baby Stage Academy’ sessions will both be themed around the tale that sees a family set off on the trail of a bear – and get more of an adventure than they bargained for! Combining imaginative play, singing, dancing – and lots of bubbles along the way, the sessions are aimed at helping children develop coordination, confidence and social skills. Studio director, Laura Keeling, says:
“As a mum of three ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ is an all-time favourite in our house – the story and its poetry really engage young children, so it seemed like the perfect inspiration for a special celebratory toddler session. Those who’ve not joined us for a class before are welcome to come along for a free trial, but spaces are limited so advance registration is strongly recommended.”
The Bear Hunt sessions will take place in Rooftop Studios’ purpose-built studio above the High Street arcade in Stone.
They will run during Baby Dance class on Monday 11th March from 11.30am-12.15pm and baby Stage Academy from 10.15am -11.00am on Friday 19th March.
