Local Charities benefit from Staffordshire Community Foundation Awards

STING (Staffordshire Therapeutic Independent Neurological Group) is one of five local groups to receive a £1000 award from the  Community Foundation of Staffordshire.

The other local recipients were AED Donate, Stone’s Alzheimers Drop-in Centre, Barlaston Community Group and Eccleshall First Responders. 

The awards were presented by Staffordshire High Sheriff Pippa Gee at the Potters Club in Stoke-on-Trent on March 21st. 

Mike Clayton and Lindsay Paxton received the cheque and certificate on behalf of STING. Said Lindsey: “This award by Staffordshire Community Foundation is greatly appreciated. We will use it to purchase new physiotherapy equipment for our centre on Stone Whitebridge Estate.”
