Hundreds braved wet weather to turn out for FEAST, Stone’s first Street Food Night on May 8th.
20 food stalls, some from local businesses, did a roaring trade in dishes ranging from curried goat, deep-fired pizza, smoky sausages and veggie falafels to chocolate churros and healthy Açai berry cups.
Among the drinks on offer were craft beers and gin cocktails in all imaginable flavours.
Before the rain started, the public tables and benches proved popular with families who had opted for a gourmet night out. Once it came, people stood and enjoyed their food under arches and in alleyways instead.
FEAST was organised by the Stone Traders Group and Sauce Magazine based in Stone BusinessPark.
There will be further Street Food Nights on June 26th, September 25th and December 11th (all Wednesdays).
