Get snap happy in Staffordshire

Do you have a passion for photography or an eye for a good picture?
Visitors are being asked to grab their cameras and capture their favourite parts of Staffordshire, as part of a new photo competition, Staffs Snaps.

Each month, Enjoy Staffordshire is searching for the best photograph that captures the county’s personality, people and places, based on a set theme.

This month, the search is on for the best football inspired photo of Staffordshire to welcome in the World Cup. Happy snappers are being urged to be creative, think outside the ‘penalty’ box and get snapping!

To enter, upload entries to Enjoy Staffordshire’s Facebook (Enjoy Staffs), Twitter (@EnjoyStaffs) or Instagram (enjoystaffordshire) using the hashtag #staffssnaps.

Prizes include tickets to some of Staffordshire’s best attractions, including Alton Towers and Go Ape.

Graeme Whitehead, Destination Staffordshire’s tourism manager, said:

“Staffordshire is full of character and beautiful places. This competition has been launched to encourage people to capture and share their experiences in the county and encourage visitors to enjoy what’s on offer.”
