Oulton in the Great War 1914

Held at Oulton Village Hall, 7 November 2014, in aid of           ST Johns Church Oulton, the WWI exhibition was hugely successful, raising around £1000

Some 95 people attended the event which had an exhibition based upon those who fought in WW1 from Oulton with memorabilia kindly brought in by many people with fathers and relations who had served in the war. Steve Booth  from Stone Historical Society gave a very interesting talk about Stone and Oulton in the war. A wartime supper of meat pie and fruit crumble was enjoyed by all. Thank you to all who helped make this event so successful .
