History fans can be among the first to see a fascinating new World War One documentary in an exclusive first showing at Sandon Hall on Saturday, March 24.

War Above the Trenches is set to air on the Yesterday Channel in April, and focuses on the evolution of aerial warfare in the First World War.

As one of the key filming locations, Sandon Hall is the perfect backdrop to this evening celebration.

Guests will enjoy a drink and afternoon tea style canapés on arrival and have the chance to mingle with the crew and cast – many of whom will be wearing authentic WWI costume – as well as see a host of memorabilia come under the hammer with TV antiques expert Isabel Balmer, before enjoying an exclusive first screening of the two-part documentary.

The event will take place from 6pm on Saturday, March 24. Tickets, at £28 per person, are strictly limited – to secure yours head to or call 01889 508004.
